Wolli and the climate detectives

Is your family able to solve the seven riddles relating to the missing glacier fleas? Download the app and get your map and binoculars at the Zermatt Tourism Office and start the adventure "Wolli and the climate detectives".

While you listen to the story of Wolli and his friends along the way, you'll solve puzzles at seven different stations. The ride on the Gornergrat Railway is already wonderfully mysterious. After an impressive visit to the observation platform, the train takes you back to Rotenboden, where you embark on a 1.5-hour hike to Riffelberg.

Along the journey, you'll discover many additional attractions. At Gornergrat, the ZOOOM the Matterhorn exhibition awaits, where you can experience a virtual paragliding flight. Directly at Rotenboden station, the fascinating Alpine garden begins, allowing you to explore the high alpine plant life. It's worth taking a break at Riffelsee to enjoy the stunning reflection of the Matterhorn in calm weather. With luck, you might encounter the adorable Valais Blacknose sheep from "Meet the sheep" during your hike and even stroke Wolli's friends with their soft fur.

And the best part: This makes hiking enjoyable for children too!

Participation on the climate audio trail is, in principle, free. However every family member will require a train ticket for the Gornergrat Bahn. Children aged up to 6 years travel free and children with a Junior or Grandchild travelcard who are accompanied by a parent or grandparent can also board at no charge.
