Children, as well as holders of a General or Half Fare Travelcard and others, receive discounted rates. With the Eurail Pass, the SBB day pass and the municipality day pass you have no discount on the ride up the Gornergrat.
Children with the Junior Card and dogs travel free up to the Gornergrat
In summer, children up to 5.99 years and in winter up to 8.99 years travel free of charge on the Gornergrat.
Children with the following travel tickets also travel free up to the Gornergrat:

Children’s Co-Travel Card
Family Card STS
Wollicard (the whole year until 8.99 years old)
And your dog can travel up to the Gornergrat with you for free.
Do we receive a discount as a group?
Groups of ten or more receive a 30% discount on the fare. Additional valid discounts (GA travelcard, Half Fare Card, Swiss Travel Pass, etc.) will be credited.
There are no free journeys.
