Special exhibition "The one and only Gornergrat Railway"

The Matterhorn Museum – Zermatlantis, in the centre of Zermatt, offers you an insight into the development of the village of Zermatt. Here you can immerse yourself in the mountain world of past centuries. See how people lived in the past and learn all about the first ascent of the Matterhorn. In addition, you can marvel at the special exhibition "The one and only Gornergrat Railway" from 1 July 2023 to summer 2024. Various stations take you on an exciting journey into the past of the Gornergrat Railway. Numerous historical exhibits provide an insight into how Switzerland's first electric cogwheel railway has changed over the past 125 years.
