When you have a Peak Pass you have unlimited access to Zermatt’s mountain world. You can take unlimited trips to the various excursion mountains. The Peak Pass is your ideal companion for hiking and excursions to the panoramic mountain region around Zermatt.

What’s included in the Peak Pass?

The Peak Pass is your ticket for activities in the Zermatt mountains. Included are the following mountain transport systems, attractions and other modes of transport.

  • Unlimited rides with the Gornergrat Bahn.

  • Unlimited rides with the cable cars in the Matterhorn glacier paradise and Sunnegga-Rothorn. Skilifts and chairlifts are not included.

  • Unlimited rides with the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn between Randa, Täsch and Zermatt as well as the busses in Zermatt.

  • Admission to the Glacier Palace is included

  • Mountain bike transport (see the extra timetable for mountainbikes at Gornergrat, reservation fee not included)

The Peak Pass is especially worthwhile if you are spending several days in the Zermatt mountain region. For the Peak Pass there are various season prices:


  • Children up to 8.99 years free

  • Children from 9 - 15.99 years with Junior Card when accompanied by a parent free

  • Children from 9 - 15.99 years with Children’s Co-Travelcard when accompanied by an adult free

  • Dogs are transported free of charge

* The date of birth is decisive for the reduction.

Important information

Peak Pass is not valid for snowsports visitors.
