The Brother Klaus chapel on the Riffelberg

You can’t miss this little chapel. It stands in the midst of alpine meadows and the Matterhorn is its striking backdrop. The chapel was built in 1961 using modern construction methods. Could you guess that the chapel’s shape is modelled on the shape of the Weisshorn summit in the background?

The chapel is not only a popular place for weddings but it was also employed as dramatic scenery in our three open-air-theatre productions.
