Do you like regional products, fresh from the Zermatt and the Riffelalp? Go to the cheese refrigerator on the Riffelalp and buy an aromatic addition to your picnic. Right at the place of where it’s made you can buy local, sustainably produced alp cheese. Go to the fridge, select your cheese, pay and enjoy it! The cheese refrigerator is just next to the Restaurant Alphitta and is only a 10-minute walk from Riffelalp station.
Important information
Alpine cheese is only available as long as the cows are on the Alpine pasture. This is usually the case from June to September.
