Description

A hike to four beautiful mountain lakes with admirable flora and impressive mountain scenery.

Leisee

Shortly after the start at Sunnegga, the first highlight follows: Leisee. The lake is passed on the left side in the direction of travel. From there the hiking trail leads east – mostly with a view of the Adlerhorn.

Stellisee:

After about an hour of ascent, the Stellisee is reached, known for the Matterhorn reflection. A walk around the lake is recommended. From Stellisee the trail descends in about 30 minutes to Grindjisee.

Grindjisee:

A bit above the lake, the full floral splendor can be seen. From Grindjisee the trail follows the large glacier moraine – a remnant of the last ice age – to the Grunsee.

Grunsee:

Grunsee invites you to swim, then it continues through the beautiful stone pine and larch forest to Riffelalp.

Check before starting your hike if the trail is open.
