Why not enjoy a Walliser Teller (selection of cured meats with local cheeses) at 2,500 metres above sea level? You can certainly do that at the Restaurant Riffelhaus 1853! The menu in this historic house consists mainly of Swiss or Walliser specialities.
The Riffelhaus was already hosting climbers from the great era of the first Alpinists. The climbers spent a night here before attempting to conquer one of the surrounding peaks. In 2014 the building was carefully restored.
